canDO GPS is for any vehicle that has an OBD port fitted. This is the small port that mechanics use when servicing your car to look at information on your vehicle. All petrol vehicles sold in the EU since 2001 have the port, and all diesels since 2004. Many vehicles had them even earlier than this.
So cars, van and light commercial trucks will work with canDO GPS. HGV's (heavy goods vehicles) use 24V power and do not currently work with canDO GPS.
