The pictures in this video show the novatek 96650 (Newer version). the one I have is the Novatek 96550 (Older version). Both should record in .MOV and not .AVI. Battery VS Capacitor for me is not a big deal since I do not use my camera outside the truck. In this video I used a power supply with the power cord provided to record in the house.
