Why the OnePlus 5T Tops Our List of the Best Rooting Phones
Full Comparison: to Gadget Hacks: this video, I’ll be talking about the best phones for rooting as we head into 2018. The phone that topped our list was none other than the OnePlus 5T.
Other phones that made the top 5 were the first-gen Pixel, the Moto G5 Plus, the LG G6, and the Huawei Mate 9. You may notice that some of these aren’t the absolute latest models, and that’s because we held off recommending phones like the Pixel 2 as a result of their yet-to-be-determined development support.
We’ll revisit this list in the future, at which point you may see some newer models make it in — that is, if their dev community starts picking up.
