The tracker has two modes. ‘moving’ and ‘sleeping’ (stationary). You can set how often the tracker updates it’s location for both modes, between every 1 min and every 6 hours. When you check your phone’s app, it will show the most recently updated location.
This makes the tracker very versatile, as the settings can be changed to either track quickly, or track slowly and preserve battery.
GPS is for outdoor tracking use, locations will be more accurate outdoors than indoors.

Top up data is better suited for tracking objects or things that you won’t need their location updating regularly e.g. vehicles. This means you can spend a one-off fee that is likely to last much longer.
