VIDEO: Edmond police officer rescues kitty on I-35

An Edmond police officer jumped into action to rescue a kitty found wandering on I-35.

Police released a video of the rescue Thursday on the department’s Facebook page. Police said while on duty, Sgt. Martin heard a strange noise on I-35. He jumped into action and saving a little cat, later named “Highway” by Edmond police.

The cat will be up for adoption at the Edmond Animal Shelter in a few weeks. Police said.
