How to Locate Your Phone with a Simple SMS
Full Tutorial: to Gadget Hacks: this tutorial, I'll show you how to find your phone through a text message with SMSLocator, a free app for Android that can send your device's location through an SMS.
This app is does not require root permission, but it does need to be activated as a Device Administrator before it can work properly. Unlike other alternatives like Google Device Manager and Cerberus, SMSLocator does not require a data connection to work, so no matter where your phone is, it can be tracked.
There are also options to limit who can request your location, so there is no need to worry about your stalker tracking you down.
